What happens to what you send me
This site has one form and no tracking of any kind. What follows is the full account of what happens to a message you send through it, as required by Article 13 of the GDPR.

Who is responsible
TechStyles s. r. o. is the data controller — the company that decides what happens to your data and answers for it. It is registered in Slovakia under IČO 55 895 727, and it is run by one person.
The practice is too small to require a Data Protection Officer under Article 37, so there is not one. Questions and requests come to me directly, through the contact form on the home page.
What I collect
Only what the form asks for, and what any web server unavoidably sees:
- Your name, email address, and message — all required, because I cannot reply without them.
- Your company, if you choose to give it. The field is optional and nothing depends on it.
- Your IP address and basic request metadata, logged by the hosting provider as part of serving and protecting the site.
- Two hidden anti-spam fields: an empty decoy input, and the time the page loaded. Neither identifies you, and both are discarded once the submission passes.
Why, and on what legal basis
To read your message and reply to it, and to take any steps you have asked for towards working together. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
To keep a record of correspondence and to stop the form being abused. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in running the practice and keeping the site usable.
That is all. Your details are not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold or shared for advertising. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making of the kind Article 22 covers — a person reads every message, because there is only a person.
Who else sees it
Two companies process your message on my behalf, both bound to act only on my instructions:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and runs the function that receives the form. It logs IP addresses and request metadata.
- AgentMail, Inc. — delivers the submission into the inbox I read. Their own sub-processors include AWS, Svix, Clerk, Stripe, PostHog, Vercel, Google, Slack and Plain.
Where it goes
AgentMail, Inc. is based in San Francisco, so your message is transferred outside the European Economic Area. A data processing agreement covering that transfer is being put in place; until it is, please do not send anything through this form that you would not want processed in the United States.
Cloudflare processes data across a global network, covered by its own data processing agreement and the Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years from our last contact, then deleted. If we end up working together, our correspondence is kept for the length of the engagement and afterwards for as long as Slovak accounting and tax law requires records to be held.
Logs held by the providers above expire on their own schedules, which are shorter — Cloudflare and AgentMail both discard request and security logs within a year.
Cookies, tracking, and analytics
There are none. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking scripts run, nothing is written to your browser storage, and no third-party fonts or scripts are loaded from anywhere else. This is why the site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- Give you a copy of what I hold about you (Article 15).
- Correct it if it is wrong (Article 16).
- Delete it (Article 17).
- Restrict what I do with it, or object to it entirely (Articles 18 and 21).
- Hand it over in a portable form (Article 20).
Asking, and complaining
Send any of the above through the contact form and I will action it within one month, as Article 12 requires. There is no charge, and I will not ask you to justify the request.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Slovak supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, at dataprotection.gov.sk. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live.
Changes
If the way this site handles data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify, by design — techstyles.sk is a static site with a single form, and the intention is to keep it that way.
